Environmental concerns have become an increasing global priority over the recent years. For us at Folkerdey this has always been the case as the location of the festival itself is set in a stunning lush and green environment. In order to keep it that way we have thought of various ways in order to stay green.
We minimise trash by using only compostable plates, cups and cutlery.
Our Folkerdey merchandise shirts are made of natural cotton and produced in accordance with fare trade regulations.
Meat come only from butchers and farms that keep animals in a species-appropriate environment
There is no parking at the festival site as such, enforcing the idea of seeking alternate and green ways of travelling to the festival
Of course we need your help, too! Use the many bins and ashtrays around the site in order to keep Folkerdey green!
